Patient’s First Interview & Hair Analysis

To accomplish a healthy hair transplant surgery first of all we must get good examination of the patient. After the first appointment with our expert, the patient always has a plenty of time to ask questions and it is an incumbent upon the expert to clearly explain everything and make him satisfied giving our answers.

During the hair transplant surgery we examine the scalp with a computer supported hair analysis and determine the thickness and the structure of hair follicles , we also measure the hair loss and calculate how many grafts are needed for the patient mathematically.

We also examine the density and calculate the amount of grafts needed to acquire a natural appearance that will be in harmony with the rest of the face . After this initial evaluation and providing detailed information to our patient we proceed with the operation.

Local Anaesthesia & Extracting Grafts

The first step when harvesting hair grafts is to locally numb the area, after this procedure the patient will not feel any pain or discomfort.
After local anesthesia is done, the area the grafts are harvested separately with a special 24-carat gold plated pins, not causing any type of allergy, the grafts harvested are examined and analyzed by the physician on microscope, after that; the healthy and unharmed grafts are selected and transplanted, taking into consideration the number of grafts that are needed and the area where to transplant them.

Determining Frontal Hair Line

We portray the front line of the hair using a particular medical pen considering our patient’s requests and doing our best to make it as natural as possible. While portraying the frontal hair line we also give thought to many details, listen to our patient and clarify thoroughly with drawing the best design to get the desired result.

Opening Hair Channels
Either with Choi Pens or Sapphire Slits, channels are opened on recipient area. Afterwards grafts are implanted according to the technique that was recommended by our expert.

Implanting Grafts

Depending on the technique that will be applied, either Choi pens are used for implanting or they are placed manually during FUE procedure.

Dressing & Bandaging

After hair transplant surgery is completed, your head will be covered partially for bandaging using antibiotic and cloth to keep the area sterilized. We advise our patients to stay away from rain or dusty places that may cause infection.

Hair Washing

We ask our patients to have a rest after the first day of hair transplant procedure. On the second day we welcome our patients to our hospital again and we give them instructions on how to wash their head with special materials we provide for them. We also give some information about what to do for next few months and schedule them a periodic program to come for a check up.

Periodic check

After hair transplant surgery we call our patients on 15-30-90-180-365th days and invite them to our clinic to take a look after the process of healing.

For patients coming from abroad and cannot travel we recommend them to send photos via mail or WhatsApp.

Hair Transplant Surgery & Healing Process

After some days the healing process will speed up, people who travel from abroad can catch a plane after 3 days, after one week to 10 days the patient can have a bath, two month later they can swim and do solarium and go swimming in the sea.

Most of the hair implanted may fall off once due to the “shock loss” process. Afterwards hair follices start to grow again and around 6th month mark patient can see them getting thicker and healthier. Final result would be visible at the end of the first year.
